School InfoBeethoven’s mission is to foster a cooperative learning environment to encourage each student’s personal development and maximum achievement. In order for each child to have the best possible experience, we have certain expectations from students.

We ask that each child and his/her parent read these agreements and that they then sign them together. Students understand that they will, to the best of their ability, honor these agreements. Parents are asked to support these expectations at home.

    School InfoDear Parents,

Welcome back to school for the 2006-2007 school year! We hope that you and your family had a relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation.

As the Principal of Beethoven Elementary School, I am committed to uphold the high standards of this school in order for us to continue to realize our mission for student's personal development and maximum achievement. I look forward to working with you to provide the best learning opportunities for our children.

We, Beethoven's staff, wish to extend a warm welcome to our new families and returning families. We are very fortunate to have an exceptionally talented group as well as dedicated parents who are committed to making Beethoven an exemplary and outstanding school.

It is essential for you to be an active participant in your children's education. Students show more interest in their studies when their parents take time out to participate at school.

Please, get to know your child's teacher; you know important things about your child that should be shared with the teacher. Encourage your child to do his/her best and to come to school on time. Please let your child know that homework is important. Set a regular time and be sure to find a quiet place for completion of homework. Read with him/her every day. Turn the TV and radio off during reading time. Children become better learners by reading. We need your continuous support.

Although we make every effort to have classes in place prior to your child's enrollment, changes may occur. Therefore, it may be necessary to reorganize classes after enrollment. Please know that great efforts are made to keep classroom changes at a minimum.

It is imperative for you to review and complete attached documents. Please return all required documents to your child's teacher in a timely manner. Let's work together to make this the best year ever!

    Sincerely,
    Dr. Althea Ford
    Principal

    School InfoDear Parents,

Welcome to the 2004-2005 school year! We hope that you and your family had a relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation. In this website you will find important information and dates. Please take the time to review everything and return any required information to your child's teacher.

We wish to extend a warm welcome to our new families and welcome returning families. We are looking forward to meeting you. We are very fortunate to have an exceptionally talented staff and dedicated parents who are committed to making Beethoven an exemplary and outstanding school. Please consider you involvement of working together to make a difference in your child's education.

Beethoven is a busy and exciting place. The state and district have retained class size reduction in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade classes. There may be a need to reorganize some classes after enrollment. While we work very hard to keep student classroom changes to a minimum it is sometimes necessary.

Please, parents get to know your child's teacher. You know important things about your child that you can tell the teacher. Let your child know that homework is important. Set a regular time and be sure to find a quiet place. Read with your child every day. Turn the TV and radio off during reading time. Encourage your child to do his/her very best and to come to school on time. Find out how you can become involved in your school.

Let's work together to make this the best year ever!

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Althea Ford, Principal
